2nd Week	Cleaning and Preparation of Sand. Steps involved in Hand Moulding. Introduction of Crucible. Introduction of Non-Ferrous Metal. Melting Furnaces (Coke fired, Oil & Gas fired).
3rd Week	Introduction to Preparation of Mould with Single Piece Pattern and Casting. Introduction to Preparation of Mould with Split Piece Pattern and Casting.
4th Week	Cores and Types of Cores. Introduction to Preparation of Round Core. Introduction to Baking of Cores.
